I have no clue. Interesting sub though, is that an auxiliary prop like on the North Korean/Iranian mini-subs?

I say Snake's a winner! There are many people who frequent this thread with encyclopedic knowledge of military hardware across all services and modes of transport (sea, air, land) and know how Google works. This thread always amazes me, I thought I was pretty hot on recognition until I came here. But on this occasion Snake has defeated everybody.

I'll try for an answer...

Based on snake65 saying that the sub was later than the SSN 688 Los Angeles Class, my guess would be either the Australian Tye 471 Collins Class, the new british Astute Class SSN or the British SSN HMS Trafalgar....

I know it's lots of tries but since nobody has found one, i'm taking chances...

Can't be the British ones, they have shrouded props at the rear

Can't be Collins either: Collins have X-tails.

Not German.
Not British.
Not Swedish or Aussie.
Not Indian.
Not Dutch or Belgian.
Not Italian.
Probably not Yugo.

France, China, Japan, USA, Russia, Norway, Iran, Pakistan.
039 Song? Oyashiro? Ula?

Russian Akula Class ?

This one is particualry challenging, since every country tries to keep the propeller design top secret for some obvious reason....

actually, the HMS Trafalgar is the only one of her class which doesn't have a shrouded propeller design
