Well... sometime I really wonder... what infor can terrorists get from a few photo. Maybe they could set restricted area, whereby no one can take any photos and other area might be open up.

Don't think they will ever do that in the near future. Besides, i think Sngapore govt not happy about the incident a few years ago where NSFs were making vidoes in camp. Besides, we have the ISD to worry about as well......:p

OMG Two yrs military service? Back in my day in N.Z. I dont remember exactly , because it was so long ago we had to register by 20th birthday? and then you were balloted in for military training, YES all 3months of it. It was the only national lottery where I ever won anything.

During my time, it was two and a half year. Only in recent years are the national service in Singapore cut down to two years.

well singapore has strict rules for everything. but they are treating you like babies. instead of not letting you have a camera at all (and how is that supposed to be enforced?you can take photos with your cell phone), you should be briefed on what to post or not to post online. personally i wouldnt post anything that reveals anyone's name or any sort of ID.

Err, they don't allow camera phones. Basically, handphones with camera function. There are phones without any camera on them made specially for those going through National Service. Initially, it was okay but some idiot posted some video a few years ago and ever since, such things aren't allowed.:D

Actually they don't even allow cell phone with camera on. As mentioned by others, and my younger brother, it seemed that some national servicemen are actually being charge for bringing camera phone into camp. This really is kinda stupid if u ask me.

Ah, well, let's talk about the thread starter's military training. Btw, which country r u from and how long do u have to serve? How long is ur basic military training phase? When I was enlisted, I was overweight so I went through 3.5 months of BMT. Then went to SISPEC for sergeant course for 6 months then back to BMT as instructor till the end of my service.

You need to upload a step by step picture tutorial of how you folded your socks. My sock drawer is a mess and your way looks awesome.
