Japanese sinks stealth boat in whale wars!

Well the Japanese released the video they taped and it seems Paul Watson is maniuplating the facts... again. The TV show already shows how willingly he is to lie. Paul Watson said the Japanese ship turned and cut into their ship. Well maybe but a ship that size isn't going to be turning on a dime and as stated in one of videos in the link below, the stealth boat looks like its moving forward crashing into the Japanese ship and not idle as Paul Watson reported.
Those anti-whaling people are idiots. I guess it's sort of admirable that they have really strong convictions and want to protect nature and everything, but they absolutely fail. My friends and I were watching that show Whale Wars and were literally laughing at their ineptitude. The fail to do even the most obvious things to prevent the Japanese from getting the whales, and then cry when the whales get harpooned. If you put any competent poster on this forum in charge of their "fleet" the whalers' job would instantly get a lot harder, instead of having these idiotic hippies in charge.

I personally am against Japan's hunting of the whales (having grown up watching the crocodile hunter and having gone whale watching) - but out of curiousity has anyone here tried whale meat before? I don't get the Japanese fixation with whale deli... (Though I suppose it may be similar to the Chinese shark fin soup - but I'm against killing sharks for their fins as well, not only because they taste yucky)
EDIT, after just reading on the days paper that the crew were NZers...: Yeah, curse Japan! (seeing as I can't use the f word or other insults =P)

This South Park episode basically sums up everything about Paul Watson and his crew.
Generally, unless they plan to up the ante beyond their stupid stunts they pull for TV, they are never going to get anywhere saving the whales. The Japanese population is entrenched on the side of the whalers. The only supporters these keystone kop activists are getting are from people who can't do anything more than Paul Watson and his crew can do. When they whine about being pelted with nuts and bolts while they throw glass bottles, are these people really capable of anything beyond the machismo of their own rhetoric? I especially enjoy the last season where Paul Watson was all angry that the Japanese were using the same tricks to try to sabotage his vessel. Let's see one of these Hollywood celebrities that support them take a tour one year.

The Ady Gil, formerly Earthrace, was designed for a successful round-the-world speed powerboat record attempt in 2008. It was acquired by Sea Shepherd last year and renamed after a Hollywood businessman benefactor.
1. The hull is described as a wave-piercing trimaran. It is made out of carbon fibre with a foam core, but has had Kevlar armour added to defend against ice. It is capable of submarining up to 7m (23ft) underwater.
2. Much of the helm was originally modelled on a racing car. It was fitted with racing-style seats and a carbon steering wheel. Its windscreen is 17mm laminated toughened glass.
3. Power comes from two 540 hp engines, and the boat can reach speeds of more than 40 knots (75km/h). It runs on biodiesel fuel and has a range of between 2,000 (2,700km) and 13,000 nautical miles depending on speed.
4. The 14-tonne vessel's distinctive horns act as ducts to channel hot air from the engines and suck in cool air. The interior has space for six beds.
It's capable of going underwater 7 meters?? Wth? Does that mean it's like completely watertight from the top as well?
