Re: Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I went to AC (Atlantic City), don't remember what happened, too many beers.

You got drunk over beer? Man, the most beer I've had was about 15-16. And I was fine although I had some hard time walking back to my dorm. But I don't think it was the beer though. On top of those beers I had, I also drank about 3/4 bottle of wine and some vodka.

Depends on which ones you talk about. If it is Budweiser and such, true. If it is Sam Adams or local brew like Shiner Bock (in Texas), it is not true at all. These beers taste awesome!

Yea, since I started to study for my CPA, I haven't drank or done anything. So I am a light weight now.

Are those a larger type or a brown ale type/ chemically or naturally brewed?

Huh? I've not had a beer or any sort of alcohol since Super Bowl Sunday in January 2003. I was never a big drinker. I like to have a nice frosty one after a hot summers day work. Or hoist a few the first day on liberty back in my Navy days.

I use to drink Miller Genuine Draft or Natural lite. And to me the only "foreign" beer I ever liked was San Miguel from the Philippines. Aussie beer/ale, English and European beers/ale is too bitter. Anyone that drinks that stuff needs their taste buds adjusted.:D Just my opinion..and I went to Ireland once and there's not a cold beer in the whole country!

Beer has alcohol in it. 14-15 beers will get you drunk unless you are Superman. So you were drunk. I bet your blood alcohol level was off the chart.

A little trivia...and don't look up the answer!!!!..Why do Americans drink cold beer???

Re: Casual talk...Have fun!

Ah beer, it's seems that I get to drink a few of them every weeks, either with my rowing teammate, or with colleague of my research department !!

Actually, my favorite beer is the Belgian Hoegaarden, even though the Leffe and Stella Artois are pretty good too. We have a few microbrewery who brew their own beer over here in Montreal (Canada) and it's pretty good. Like maple sirup flavored or Blueberry !!! I don't like most north american beer like Coors, Molson or Bud, i think their are tasteless. Surprisingly, Richards are not bad even if it's a Molson product !!

Cold beer ? Maybe for the taste ? I don't know....
