There is no more doubt that Yuan is equipped with AIP Here is the story of the first sailor Xiao Haisheng who manipulate the Yuan AIP.
The Thai ordered Submarine is also equipped with AIP and the Thai evaluation team confirm its reliability
Some people here in this forum doubted if Yuan is equipped with AIP

It is not Jiaolong that is British designed see the bottom cylinder on minisub that one attached to the sunken sub to transfer people from the sub Jiaolong doesn't have that
They first lower the ROV to get situation awareness and take video or picture

Yes I know that, the British made LR5 was sold to China many years ago. I was just wondering if she had built a version of her own, knowing very well Jianlong had proven building deep diving mini subs is within Chna's capablity

Yes now they built deep sea sub using domestic component There is video about it and Henri K upload it
