so 4x 039A and 9x 039B = 13 total ? ... but in the next column shows 2013/12 ... its 2.5 years ago! ... no additional 039B since Dec 2013?

Pic from Wuhan on the Yang Tse Kiang far in the interior where all Yuan are build.

Thinking on the pics it is a new for this year normaly the 15th # 344.

4 x 039B, how many 039B and 039C ?
039C variant get especialy a different redesigned sail as the Seawolf the first submarine to have this design with a fillet added to reduce the flow noises caused by the abrupt change in contour at the base of the sail.

For me 14 in service up to # 343 possible the first 039C since 2014 seems one by year up to 3 # 339-341 put in service in 2013 the maximum.
6 replace Ming in 12 Submarine Flotilla/NSF to Lüshun had 8 SSK remains normaly 2 Ming now on last GE view 2 or 3 present.

After the chart is not recent but good and with China... not be too difficult antiterror13

Probably been posted before, but no harm in posting it again.

@FORBIN ... in your opinions ... what are the diff between 039B and 039C?

Visually (above the waterline) the following differences are clear, but changes below the waterline are not immediately clear. It seem the Initial 039B lacked flank array sonars, but later versions (039B+???) have them installed when images just prior to launch were released -
