071 LPD thread

Looks good

I wonder if there is any difference between this and previous units ? Type 071 and 071A

The 5th unit 978 and 6th unit 979 will complete the ESF flotilla with 988

Then SSF and ESF will have 3 units a piece

Then NSF can get its 3 units after wards

If they launch one unit every year that will be 2021 to complete 9 x LPD for all 3 fleets

Each fleet then has 1 x Type 075 LHA to augment the 3 LPD to form a amphibious ready group

3 ARG from China means 1 ARG deployed at all times for international missions post 2020

You can add 1 CSG to that too

China will move away from FFG and DDG deployments to ARG and CSG deployments

I don't think it is a good idea to assign a single LHD to each fleet.

It's inefficient from a maintenance, training and capability point of view when compared to having them stationed together. There's only 3 of them after all.

Plus I don't see Northern fleet getting any lpd either
