071 LPD thread

Here are some pictures of Joint Exercises by the PLAN involving Type 072 LSTs and a Type 071 LPD. The makings of a PLAN ARG.

I like to see the LCAC in there amongst the LSTs, on its way back to the Type 071 LPD. They are getting a lot of good experience with such exercises.

Are these recent exercises? The black pennants would seem to indicate no?

Some high-rez photos from the latest amphibious assault exercise:

Seem like very little water vapour spraying out from front skirt in all 3 above photo of LCAC, compared with all previous photos.

They are performing numerous exercises. Which is exactly what they need to do to gain the experience.

But they need more LCACs IMHO. Perhaps they have gotten he design to a point where they want it, because we are seeing more in the yards...and I hope we see them at sea one day soon.

Perhaps we see little water spray in the LCAC photo's because they do not carry any cargo.

I find it suspicious that we have yet to see any Chinese LCAC fully loaded even if they are building more of them.

I have seen that photo, that is a single tank, not really effective usage of the LCAC and hopefully not a representation of the boat being fully loaded.
