Video: PLAN Type 056 Corvette Testing its Weapons at Sea Including HQ-10 RAM-Like CIWS

China Central Television news channel (CCTV 13) released a video showing the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN or Chinese Navy) Type 056 Corvette (Jiangdao class) Quanzhou in a live fire exercise. The video is interesting as it shows a live launch of the HQ-10 close-in weapon system (CIWS) which is often compared to the American RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) system.

Some people have no sense of humour
Let's not get too judgmental.

People from different places and cultures have different values and beliefs. what one may find funny may be offensive to another.

In addition, SD has specific rules for language and sexual connotation.

Let's just let it go at that and not be too judgmental either way.

The word was removed, I spoke with the poster and he explained the situation which included translation issues...and the matter is dropped.

I think more interesting and significant is the launch of a drone from the helipad in that video.

It was too brief to be positive that it was from on 056, but it certainly strongly suggest it.
