and both J20 and J31 had nose numbers.

Nose numbers yes, but not full operational serial numbers.

Wolf look at this birds main rotor 5 blades, look at the tail different angel and the tail wheel is all the way out there, look at the engines no Blackhawk has that structure where the rotor shaft and super structure meet. Look at the exhausts, more like a Z10, look at the cabin floor there is a pronounced bulge where the cabin and tail meet. Look at the main gear its a little longer then the stock Blackhawk.

I stand corrected, that's not a blackhawk.

Could it be a test number? It looks to me kind of like 20001, which would indicate Z-20 prototype 1 naturally. And of course, J-20 is using 2001 so they can't use that...

Since when does the Chinese paint tail numbers on their prototypes? The helo in that picture looks like a Blackhawks because it is one of the Blackhawks the PLA currently operates.
Well, apparently since they flew that one at the least.

That is no Blackhawk. That is also not one of the PRCs S-70s they purchased.

The article linked to in my post plainly points out the differences, which includes: the 5-blade rotor, a larger cabin, the different landing gear, the different tail with the tail rotor on this side. Also, you can see a difference in the nose, and the engines themselves and their exhaust.

No offense intended (because I think we all just skim the posts and rely on the pictures alone from time to time) , but the link I provided did point these things out.
