All PLAN combatants have that from 056s to 052Ds. I remember reading something by pop3 that mentions all PLAN combatants having sensors that operate across multiple parts of the EM spectrum.
Seems obvious, but getting close-up pictures of the masts are hard to find, well at least for me

Is this for 054B or totally new 057? ....... I tend to believe the concept is for 057. This concept is like baby 055 and would cost much more than 054A, perhaps 2x.
I thought 054A' purpose was to be modern enough and cheap enough for frigate and will be produced in big number. The much more expensive and modern version would be reserved for destroyer and cruiser (052D/E and 055A/B), but perhaps PLAN may feel a need for much more modern frigate
I really like the concept of 057
Whether it is true or just a fan design, I have to say who created it have a good understanding of ship design and spent a lot of time doing it ... well done

The fan concept is correct that if you put the CIWS on front, you need to angle the cheeks or the facets on the corner of the superstructure to allow for the gun to arc backward more for greater coverage. The rest of the ship seems like an interesting wish list.

Oh there are actually four batches, according to this page. I use Google Translate, and I would assume armoring to be fitting.
