Next iteration of Type 054A is not expected till later this 25th constitutes the follow in order

so do you think it would be 054A++ or 057 after the 25th ?

From what i can see............there doesn't appear to be any evidence of a 25th 054A under current construction, and certainly not of one close to being launched.
All build plans of the 054A do not show a 25th vessel under construction. Once again someone appears to of made a wrong assumption, probably at the 'PDF'.
Mind you if it were to be true, my question would be, how did this vessel suddenly appear to be under construction, without anyone realising it was being built?

According to the latest information from our sources in China, following the initial order of 24 Type 054A frigates, the Chinese Navy would have recently added an additional order for 8 vessels of the type. However there should be no further Type 054A Frigate commissioned in the PLAN until the end of the year.
