I was just thinking about the Type 054A units
I wonder how many water and gas tight compartments they have and how many battle damage control rooms they have on board
This FFG is now in large number and their combat survivability needs to be top notch
For a warship that size I would expect 16-20 water and gas tight compartments and atleast 3-4 damage control rooms
In addition very effective training for the crews to save the ship if hit by a missile or torpedo
Maybe they should focus on stealth, reducing IR signature and survivability for the Type 054B as well as increased firepower
Maybe a sloped bridge as well as redesigned exhaust outlets can be used on the new programme
Type 054A is good but next iteration should be a lot better this design is 10 years older now
If a single unit takes battle damage entire fleet may be in question not that that is in question

This is better! The 054A on the right looks like a new boat. I believe this picture was taken on Nov. 17.
Err...not trying to be contentious, but it would be a new "ship".
A boat is either a small vessel as in a patrol boat...or a submarine.
Any major surface combatant, from corvette size up, would be a ship.

If it is not too much to ask, could you stay around in Shanghai,
and ChengDu, and ShenYang, and HuLudao ... ... until the year 2020,
hence you can take more detail pictures of the new FFG ? ... ... 054B ?
055, J-20, 093G, 095, 096, YuanMeng airship, Divine Eagle drones,
and DF-26, DF-41 ... ... ??
