I posted this already in the torpedo thread. Please continue talking about it there.

Also on the henri K claims, everything seems to be stuff already reported on Chinese bbs. Now, everything seems to be possible, but PLAN plans do change, so I'm not sure these numbers are that useful.

I think having "up to date" number projections are useful instead of only looking at ships as they appear to us, even if plans do change

I think the point of rumours is for the consensus to be continuously updated as we get new information; we never really have true "confirmation" of facts, but that doesn't mean we should ignore it

Two more photos of VLS launches. These remain rather rare.

This is a fairly well researched article. Some obvious errors. F-22P of course is not a 054A derived ship. 054A hull form is not derived from La Fayette other than general trend towards signature reduction, and deep V hull form has more to do with better sea-keeping rather than signature reduction.

I didn't expect the writers of this article to know so much inside information and history of 054A. It's like the article was written by some very knowledgeable Chinese military enthusiasts who can read and write Chinese to collect all these information instead of foreign journalists. That's a very impressive article on 054A indeed. I think one of the writer must've been a long time PLA watcher to be able to wrote such a article.

The authors, Gabe Collins and Andrew Erickson, are well-known analysts specialized in Chinese military and defense. They all read and speak Chinese.

Offered no evidence on the claim of Russian's help on the hull design except pictorial "proof". No evidence on the claim of reverse engineered VLS system (from which VLS system? MK41? Russian doesn't have a hot launched system)
