Well not quite. YJ-83 is roughly half the weight, and roughly half the range of a YJ-62 in the 052C. In another analogy, YJ-83 is comparable to the Harpoon, Exocet and Russian Switchblade or Uran ASM. YJ-62 however, is more comparable to the anti ship Tomahawk (TASM).
Still cannot deny the numerical advantage of those 16 yj83 when engaging targets within 100 miles in terms of saturated attacks

Am I right thinking the Type 346A on the Type-052D class is one of the best radar in service ?

Compared to something like the SPY-1 or SAMPSON, it clearly comes out as superior.
