"sewer outfits" just means vessel being outfitted..........and not in a sewer. :)

Some strange results arise from translating Chinese text to English using online translators!

This is from the Type 055 thread on a pic Hendrik_2000 posted. Aside from the new Type 055, DDG 175, which is a ship that's been in active service, appears to be getting her main radars worked on which I suspect is being replaced.

Jura you beat me by minute. It should be Nanjing or southern capital just like Dongjing(aka Tokyo) eastern capital.Yeah I supposed Urumqi should be close to commission too if not already
Sorry I thought the translation is Nanking using google translate. she is one heck of sleek capital ship beautiful clean line!. The seventh sister

They are years old.

They can't be years old, as Dalian hasn't actually had a finished 052D commissioned yet
They are years old.

Umm..............I don't think they are actually, as Dalian has only just had its first completed 052D enter service this month (apparently), while another is currently out on sea trials.........therefore these photos appear to of been taken recently.........as how could they be years old, as the ships wouldn't of been built then! :)

They weren't taken at Dalian. CSSC in the background means they're taken at JNCX.

Dalian is owned by CSIC.
