WOW, you can tell this from one photo?

Here is the US Navy being a massive slacker:

Here is another example of its wanton slackness:

Given the size of the RN, they must be the biggest slackers of all:

Biased much?

according to the cctv news, the 052C/052D on average spent 220 days at sea in 2016, it's among the highest in the world.
That's an obvious lie and can't be an average for every ship in the class... It's physically impossible for all of the ships.

I'm not saying that they're slacking off but the examples that you provide are clueless...

Oh sure, every photo of massed Western ships are RIMPAC or holiday; they couldn't possibly be tied for a mundane reason like: they're not being deployed. The RIMPAC photo is obvious from the KDX-3, but you can prove the other two photos are "holiday" photos, yes?

The first one is from some exercise as there are many classes of warships there. The third one is obvious if you notice that ships are fully dressed up and you don't do that everyday.

Sorry, but that is the dumbest reason I've ever heard for labeling a group of ships an "exercise". It's taken from this website, with no mention of any "exercise":

Here is another photo from the same site. Is this an "exercise"?:

In fact that site is complaining about the routine concentration of USN ships in docks where they are easily vulnerable to attack that could result in massive damage. I guess your response would be that they're "exercising" so they're actually out a lot and these photos are just lucky coincidences.

How about this photo; is this an "exercise"?:

Let me guess.... "exercise":

I did the search: 中国海军舰艇每年平均出海天数?
how many days PLAN ships at sea every year?

I received pages of return from numerous sources,

the answer: more than 200 days.

do it yourself!

I'm not sure if it's a case of it not being installed yet, but the radar array doesn't have the fold out rod below it either...

Hmmm, I have a hunch the rods won't be installed because 1) I don't even see the mounting points for them, and 2) previous ships all had them installed at this point during outfitting.

If so, this might be a slightly updated variant of 052D, perhaps sharing the same AESA panels as the 055, seeing that it's also missing the rods.

Only time will tell.
