you can see that 054A is split into 4 sections before merging

They claim this is 071, but I don't know

Peopleposter, That is diffently a USN ship. You can see USNS ships in the background. I'm pretty sure that's an Arliegh Buke. You can also see MK-41 VLS on the right side of the pic in the rear. On the bridge you can see the ships ribbons(awards)

Hmmm that last pic...

Same thoughts exactly...071 or something else? Depends on what shipyard...could be anything at this stage being a modular hull. Btw go the two 054A frigates!!! Wooohooo hope they are the real thing, two ships built side by side and so far with some hull similarities with 054, this looks like it could be the real deal.

hey Chicket9, they are saying that this one hull but split into two parts. So, they are taking the modular approach.

Anyhow, some 051C picture. Apparently new, not sure 115 or 116
Any guesses on when it might enter the northern fleet?

Is this the JL-1 or the JL-2? I've seen pics of the JL-1, but they have black stripes, this one is red.

Looks like a JL-1 to me. It's size and shape are why I say this. I'm not sure that JL-2 is ready yet.
