How many batches do the China navy plan for? Or need?
I was under the impression they would 'only' construct four 075. Or do those figures include the export versions?

They will produce 2 (maxim. 3) Prototyps, testing them and modify or build some more ...

Not news, but something I noticed. Three ships in the first batch has been around for a long time. I accidentally landed on the of PDF's Type 075 thread, where this was reported in July 2016. It was posted here a few months later, without much reaction. Henri Kenhmann also mentioned it in March 2017.

He affirmed pop3's description of a 38,000t LHD. More excitingly, he said JN no. 3 got accelerated, which can only refer to the 003 carrier because all three LHDs of the first batch are to be built at HD.

But when will we see finally the first images of both the first 075 and 003 carrier?

As far as I know, 075 pretty soon (at least this year), while 003 not before next year.
