Does anyone know the length?
Maybe PLAN goes for medium sized carriers instead of LHD for support.
And how weird will it be if it has an well deck? Haha
And then add larger carriers for the larger forces

Your attempt at sarcasm is about as humorous as it is comically shortsighted. By the time the PLAN would possess this many carriers, its budget would already be fairly close to the US military, which currently operates 11 carriers and 16 LHA/LHDs. China has already shown that it has grander geostrategic ambitions than merely the Western Pacific, and is also acquiring possibly 2 carriers at the same time along with multiple destroyers and frigates every year. These trends all point to an accelerating pace of military strengthening that has shown no signs of letting up even as China's economy slows. So why not 999? I think cost might be an issue, but clearly you have something far more genius in mind. Please, share it with us. :rolleyes:

what about
- AVG /. ACV („auxiliary carriers“), later CVE („escort carrier“),
- CVL (cruiser, with heavier-than-air craft, light),
- CVA (cruiser, with heavier-than-air craft, attack)

Looks like it could be stern well deck. Wait and see as always, but if someone like pop3 is saying it and if there's nothing to rule out the possibility of it being 075 then it's worth taking seriously.

Nice pic.

I can't get a good feel for scale...but if it is a well deck, then figure it to be about as wide as the one on a Type 071.

If it is...that is another good indicator.
