I believe that the new large type 901 has three stations on one side, two on the other.

Yes, I believe there are two resupply posts/stations on the port side and one on the starboard side (three total).

And there are three refuelling posts on the port side for a total of six refuelling stations on the port side (each refuelling post accommodates two hoses, different to USN resupply vessels where a single post on one side accommodates a single hose). And there are two refuelling posts on the starboard side for a total of four refuelling stations on that side.

Note, that on the port side, the forwardmost refuelling post doubles as a resupply post.

(I believe the posts are called kingposts or something?)

Stunning absolutely stunning

Now imagine that with the CV-16 and 17

The huge warship tonnage from China

Previous foreign port visits were Type 054A, Type 052C and occasionally Type 071 LPD with Type 903/A

Now it's got bigger CV-16/17, Type 055 and Type 901 coming to a port new you

That is a huge statement a massive flag showing excercise that will have people take notice

and it looks like it has started sea trials today, about a year after it was launched.

I wonder if there's a unit 2 under construction...

You will think so, there should be one for each carrier battle group and the rumour of a third soon to be build CATOBAR carrier, there should be at least two of these underway replenishment vessels.
