I am not sure about the decision has been made yet.

I believe these posts were made based on an internal lecture that Prof Ma made few days/weeks ago.

I think Deino is referring to the comment from big shrimp huahua conceding that people will be working on changing the design. He could have his own source, we don't know.

I felt this sentiment change a few months ago. Similar to su-35 sale, I have no internal source nor technical knowledge. But with an open mind, you can observe the subtle change reaching a point where you start to think that it gotta be true.

That conceding was very new to me. I only found that out after I posted my reply to Deino. Things change too fast.

Just so you know, I was always in favor and in belief that EMALS is going to be the one used on the first Chinese CATOBAR CV. I never considered steam had a chance. I even questioned the other test track on the site is steam or not few month ago in the catapult thread.

The purpose of my reply to Deino was only to clarify what was said by Prof. Ma and what was said by internet posters.

Keep away from the Politics and the anti-"whomever" comments.

SD is not political. It is not anti-US, it is not anti-Chinese, etc.
