I think LPD 989 is at Vladivostok naval base for Joint Sea Exercise 2015.

” exercises will run through Aug. 28 in the Sea of Japan and off the coast of Vladivostok.

Bro, I am absolutely sure that those Chinese vessels are coming into Vladivostok to take part in the upcoming Joint Sind-Russian naval exercises.
