I haven't seen this image before but also I do not think this resembles the ski ramp of a flattop. So what can it be?
The ski jump is too small for J-15.

A long term material test?
A long term material test cannot just consist of putting something resembling a part of a ship in your garden and waiting. Ship material in use experiences very different stresses and corrosion assaults.
I am not sure exactly what it is...but I believe it almost certainly is not a ski-ramp of any sort.

There are some devices in front of the ski jump nose, perhaps to put continous weight on this ramp?
Resistance to continuous loading can be well calculated. Testing might concern intermittent loading and/or corrosion.

I was wondering if anyone can help me.
There was a really great illustration/chart I saw awhile back, maybe last two years approx, that showed the ships the Chinese Navy were planning to build in the next 20-30 years. I can't seem to remember the site where I saw the illustration. It had visuals of all the carriers, destroyers, frigates, subs. I think there were maybe 4 carriers, like a bunch 055, 056, 054, 052s. If I remember correctly, the picture was mostly red. with the ships white.
I really appreciate anyone who know the chart I'm talking about putting it up or sending the link. I need it for a course I'm taking in college. Thanks so much for your help!
