Hence, your mind can't register.
Sorry, engineer, my mind is "registering," just fine.

I pointed out my thoughts on it, and I stand by them. The hanger will extend to both sides of the vessel on their CV. The way this is shown, in both pictures, it does not do that.

Personally I will give it more time.

If it is indeed the hanger sections being installed on their second CV (and as I have said, it may well be), we will see it clearly soon enough.

fzgfzy re-psed the first pic again after seeing leeone's drawing because he says both side should be the same width. He didn't censored some of the right side because it was already blocked by the crane and leeone's drawing mistakenly draw the side with different width.

And another pic with the piece that cover the big hole in the middle section of the hull( it was done Oct-10-2015). The front section without the Bulbous bow.

You and your thoughts must be disagreeing with each other then. It reminds me of the time when Liaoning first tested her #3 blast deflector, and some guy insisted that the photos must be PS, because his mind couldn't register that sub-section of the deflector could be raised. It looked very bad. Don't be him.

It could only be extended so far as structural support for the flight deck allows. It couldn't go all the way leaving both sides with paper-thin walls. It is similar on the Nimitz as well, except Newsport News put the walls in first then top the hangar off.

No...I am just not agreeing with you.

There's a huge difference engineer.

So, do not either try and patronize me, or insult me.

The pictures shown, do not indicate an asurety of the new construct being what they think it is.

That does not mean it is not...it just means it is not a sure thing yet. I will wait until it is a lot more clear.

That's not my mind either, "not registering," or me "disagreeing with myself."

Clearly, it is me not registering with or agreeing with your opinion of the matter at this point. And that in itself is fine...just do not allow it to carry over into insults.

It reminds me of the time when Liaoning first tested her #3 blast deflector, and some guy insisted that the photos must be PS, because his mind couldn't register that sub-section of the deflector could be raised.
But, Engineer, that was not me whom you are referring to...and you know it..

So do not try and establish a connection to something that is clearly not only a non sequitir, but is also simply an attempt to rationalize your own feelings in the matter.

Time will tell.

And in that time the actual evidence will make the statements to me...not you. When that happens, either way I will be fine with it. I am just not ready to jump to a conclusion that I do not see yet.

You know, engineer, honestly I have respected your opinion and your knowledge in the past, even when I did not agree with it...but your actions in this regard, are diminishing that respect.

Who said anything about "paper thin," walls? That is just ridiculous.

On the US carriers and on the Kusnetsov and Liaoning, and any other full sized carrier, the hanger deck extends all the way across the deck. On both sides it does not end with "paper thin walls," as you say...but with the structure that the hull uses, which is substantial.

What is shown with these pictures of what may be the new hanger, to this point, does not show that. I will wait until it does show what I am speaking of.

Gents.. hangar deck bulkheads aboard USN CVNs do not extend all the way out to align with the hull. This can be clearly demonstrated by observing the hangar bay well surrounding deck edge elevators. see the painted diagonal lines in the elevator well? the outer part is where the hull of the ship is located.
