My 10 Favorite J-15 Photos

The J-15 is a real game changer in the Western Pacific. It is a very capable aircraft, and a very nice looking and lethal looking aircraft to boot. I thought I would share my current ten favorite photos of this new, important PLAN aircraft.

Please, share your favorite photos of this aircraft here on this thread. No real technical discussion meant for this thread, just really nice photos of the J-15.

As time goes on and new variants of the aircraft come along, ie. a two seater, an EW variant, etc. nice photos of those variants will get posted here too.

So, as of January 10, 2013, here are my ten favorites:

Good pictures! Interesting to see the static test markings on the aircraft. They must be filming the stresses during landing.

PLAAF (China's Air Force) Jet fighters conduct combat training in southwest China’s Yunnan Province, on May 18, 2013. Since mid-May, seven armed branches together with dozens of combat units from an air force division of the Chengdu Military Region have launched their training in controlling the airspace and attacking, as well as defending, the land under complex electromagnetic circumstances. I found these un-captioned photos in the link below. They gave a date of 12.03.2013. I do not know where they were taken.

I like them because they appear to be photos that are not staged. These look like real airmen doing their jobs..

One thing.. why are these airmen on the flight line with no hearing protection and their covers(hats) on? Possible hearing damage and the hats are a FOD hazard. Just my observation..I hope those airmen have in ear plugs.

Well, we have threads dedicated to PLA Photos and PLAN Photos...I thought I would start one for PLAAF Photos specifically. Since we are a Sino Defence Forum, it is also deserved.

Lots of them out there...and there are some beautiful aircraft.

Here's a start...some GREAT J-11B pics from recent PLAAF exercises.
