Because bombers piloted by human is less prone to electronic warfare. Machines cannot adapt to dynamic changing situation as much as the human. Plus all the strategic bombers are designed to drop "dumb" nukes in case all else fails - this is the most sure way to achieve objective.

Holly molly, one question i have, the guy who did the CGI is he the same who made the very accurate CGI for FC-31 well before it has been publicly unveiled by AVIC? Of course me like everyone else i'm sure, wondering if this is just a nice CGI or... the REAL deal?! I did read some obscure rumours on the subject of a chinese bomber, allegedly this year is a "critical" (or a similar term, can't recall exactly) one for this program. Beginning of prototype construction, or even roll-out?
PS: Oh just read Icloo's reply, so we'll have this supersonic JH-X for PLAN, and the alleged subsonic H-X, a flying wing fairly similar to B-2, for PLAAF?

The CGI is just an artist's interpretation of the black supersonic bomber model whose picture I posted a few pages back.
But we don't know if the supersonic regional bomber was even taken up by the PLA. The rumours you heard about progress being made on a new bomber is relating to the flying wing stealth bomber.

Here's some more pics I believe haven't been posted before. I got the idea from CJDBY where I got these they might've been done by the "insider" guy that did the CAD drawings that came out before the model.
The same aircraft was posted and discussed for about the last 7-8 posts.

Are you talking about in general? I was talking specific pics. One maybe a reverse image. That underside shot has not been posted.
Actually A mace posted the first images of the CGI on Thursday, post 198, and the ones he is posting now are in addition to those.
And in that post he was also correct in saying the CGIs are of that black model which showed up about two years ago.
