Probably, we just have to wait and see.

Could be the next generation carrier fighter to replace J-15, but 2 missiles doesn't seem logical, even for carrier operations. But since it said light-weight fighter, I tend to think that its related to the next-gen carrier borne fighter.

This is showed up a while ago if I recall but showing up again because of this single engine stealth fighter talk.

The rumours said "tailess delta" so it would be pretty far from what this CGI shows.

I think ALL CGs we will see in the next months will be pure fan-Boys artworks. Given the fact that this Project was just initiated, I can't think that either a final configuration has been decided nor that the typical insiders were informed about it.

A rumor is claiming that the J-20 may undergo a "redesign" after the AVIC deputy director was indicted for spying on behalf of the US.

Let's wait to see how much of this is true... Apple Daily seems to be the original source, they're kind of known for their sensationalism and anti PRC spin.

This is going to turn out to be the joke of the century if true.

If apple daily was the original source then I can comfortably says its false but if its true I don't really know whether to laugh or cry.
