Here is a link that I found from chinamil English site
    http://eng.chinamil.com.cn/vhttp://...9594485.htmiew/2019-08/19/content_9594485.htm

It seems all Chinese members are from PLAN aviation by looking at their arm badges. Look at the this photo.

I won't be surprised that an aircraft painted with "中国空军" is actually under the command of PLAN instead of PLAF, because let's face it, it is China ;), military branch has no or much less branch rivalry than any other countries.

Sorry, but that's a joke!?? The PLAAF would never put any of their assets under the Naval Aviation's command ... that's plain and simple a stupid mistake by the reporter, nothing else and the fact that there were indeed some NA JH-7As available doesn't change this.

    I misunderstood you.

Regarding the others, see my post #1271, the Chinese delegation all wear PLAN aviation badges (demonstrated in 1269).

I think indeed we misunderstood each other. I don't deny that these are PLAN uniforms, that these are PLAN NA flags and patches and that there were JH-7As ... but the other assets as mentioned in the link I posted even if labelled as being NA aircraft are clearly from the PLAAF.

To be honest, I was not joking. This is not rhetoric, neither PLAN nor PLAAF "own" their assets, they have equipment and personals under their command, which can be changed back and forth by CMC in a minute without any negotiation.

    Examples:
    1. A Navy general switched his dress to Army when he was assigned in CMC not long ago. PLA did stop this practice now, but that is still valid to my point.
    2. Army general switched to PAP, or simultaneously in charge of both army and PAP units.
    3. Politician, Police Chief and PAP officers being the same person.
    4. Army amphibian troops were renamed and renumbered to Navy marine corps very recently.

I agree, from an asset management perspective (administrative procedure) they are PLAAF as it is painted on the aircraft. What I was trying to say is that the first post from Davidau "attached to PLAN aviation" is not necessarily wrong as we can see they are operated by PLAN pilots and servicemen.

Hopefully such joint exercises will help maintain a level of mutual respect and trust among the participants and countries.

Ähhhmm??? this is a YJ-83K in the middle... does this mean the J-10C is capable of using this missile too? It was at least not confirmed so far.

I don't know the context, but I think this might have something to do with a joint Chinese-Pakistan exercise in which JH-7As were known to have participated. So maybe the missile was from a JH-7A.
