I don't mean the Sniper rifle. I was joking about the among of police officers in one car of the train or subway. There are more cops than commuters in the car. The commuters don't even have any seats left for them. And NYC subway have a reputation of being dangerous. :D
That's mostly just practising rapid deployment via subway system, since via surface road there's the problem of traffic jam, and by air the dingy police helicopters can't ferry that much men and gear in one go.

The corner shot probably feel a bit unnatural to aim, like trying to cut your own hair looking into a mirror. Could be useful if you manage to suppress the opponent behind some cover and just setting the cross hair into position and waiting for him to pop his head back out.

Not really I don't think. Its not a mirror image you are looking at that tend to confuse people. You just have to focus on the display and ignore your proipheral vision when using it.

And the cornershot is less for a suppressed foe, and more for dealing with situations where the enemy is trying to suppress you. So you can't/don't want to do normal breach procedures or stick your head out to try a conventional shot as the bad guy knows you are out there and has the door firmly covered and just waiting for a shot.

So you stick one these bad boys out to take out the shooters with zero risk to yourself or your team mates.

So they're trying out the FAST helmet as well?
good catch, That does look very much like a OpsCore FAST High cut ballistic helmet, right down to the way the Velcro is placed on it. I don't think this is a Clone or inspired by but the real deal.
It's popular across nations for SF even seen on Russian SF of Late. The high cut on the sides means virtually unlimited field of view compared to a conventional Fritz or even ACH style the high ear openings are intended for use with bulky coms gear. the camo pattern sported looks like PAP so they probably got it commercially through LE channels
