I don't quite recognize the pistol shown in the last image. I guess it could be a type 92-1, but the magazine seems to allow for more than 15 rounds
That's the QSZ92-G, the "debugged" version of the QSZ92 9mm pistol for police use. All basics are the same (includes the 15-rounds capacity), but amended various issues such as magazine non-interchangability problem, in addition to other reliability related issues that see QSZ92 being dizzed and even face competition from NP22 (Chinese copy of the Sig P226).

Equation I am not arguing on that any more. Because being blunt there is no evidence that is going to change your mind and you will keep beating a dead horse.
The M4A1,M4, M16-A4, AR15 has so many iterations from poor quality to high end custom tuned weapons that look like they fire a phased plasma burst in the 40 watt range. and the same for AK's. All I can say is that a number of nasty mud and sand tests have found the AK wanting well the AR keeps the gunk out like it should. Between a top of the line AK and a well made AR, I would rather have a well made AR.
Thus far without someone blatantly being stupid like opening the receiver shotgun style and lathering in mud and gunk I have not seen a AR jame the way you are describing.
Also since neither of us has more than a reputation and based assessment on the QBZ we cannot actually qualify the QBZ rifle's reliability.

hold up there just a minute. The AK's dust cover is it's selector and it's top cover doesn't seal. The operation is open to the elements as most AK top covers are slipped in a loose tongue and groove this is why AK rifles have a hard time with railed uppers as they never sit properly. furthermore the charging handle has to have a slot to ride in this is the only part covered by the dust cover/selector. the Shallow magazine well.
The receiver has openings all over this is why when they have been mudded they fail. this is also why debris gets in.
The Galil and Galil ACE are the only AK I can think of that moved to fix those by moving the charging handle to the other side and adding a Dust cover for it. eliminating the need for the Dust cover part of the selector. milling in a closer fit between top cover and receiver with a gasket on the action spring/ top cover retainment spring.

Finally on this I point back to the Magazine. remember the 2007 dust Tests. Where Against XM8, FN Scar, HK416 the M4 suffered the most failures? yeah those tests. Consider
the XM8 used a G36 magazine and did not take any STANAG types. This is a unique magazine common only to the G36 family developed by HK made from a clear polymer
The FN Scar used a proprietary type Steel magazine with a Chrome silicon spring and different follower that fits STANAG wells.
The HK416 uses a Steel magazine that replaced the British L85 rifle magazines and is also STANAG profiled with again stronger spring and different follower and curved profile.

Infact the dust trials the US Army issued a new magazine Spring and follower rebuild ( from black to Green) and then another ( Green to Tan) and then a total replacement ( blue follower tan body) which when tested against commercial products caused both the USMC and USAF to adopt a outside product the Pmag. I mean if this doesn't indicate the problem e4f23fc1-0396-4673-b7ed-331eb658ddea.jpg
I don't know what does.

These personal arguments have to stop!

They are takling threads off track and making them so they can hardly be read.

Equation and Iron Man, STOP going back and forth like this.

Either of you can stop...but niether of you will.

Equation, quit calling people who disagree with you fanbois just because they disagree.

Anyhow, more of this and I will close this thread.

You two are getting a warning. Suspensions will follow unless you get a hold of yourselves.

Numerous people have reported this. Quite frankly it is making SD look really bad.

DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS MODERATION

JH16-1 9mm submachine at a firing range.

Do you guys see anything odd about the scope covers?

not really because of the riser the front cover has dropped a little farther. well the high rear iron has captured the rear cover. basically once open they just kinda flop around as long as they don't close or get in the way of the shooter there is no issue.
The more I look at it the more it's reminding me of the UMP 9mm

I wonder if they had installed the flip covers incorrectly. This is the first time I'd seen flip covers that open up downward, as opposed to upwards, which is the norm.
