It kinda has some messed up grammer. I mean, "Whos hero"?:D
Which site did this come from? What do they plan to do? Make Americans join the Chinese military?

Obviously someone's PS silliness. Why on Earth would PLA recruiters need English on their posters.

That's a question that doesn't need answering - there's no conceivable reason why PLA recruiters would use English. Though I could imagine the PLA having some more general media in English to improve its image overseas.

It's a bit of fun - military Chinglish.

I think my favourite has to be "Who Is Hero?" Who is Hero? Jet Li! :D

yall are right, but maybe it just for folk (chinese college kids) who have nothing to do all day.

PS. the first picture is cool any way.

I've heard of the slogan, but I hadn't actually seen the video... there were some parts that were stood out a bit for me.

"The strength to obey orders"

"and the strength to tear down"

Considering the bad reputation (some) of the army has acquired for appealing to authority when charged saying, "We were just doing our job" I am wary of some of the things touted as "strengths" in this video.

That said, it's very well edited and will most likely appeal to a great number of people. Unfortunately the majority will probably not know what they are really getting in to...

But yeah. I have little doubt this will be effective in drawing in new recruits...
