Doesn't look like it, these seem too thin to be kevlar vests.
I do wish they actually used real finished buildings for CQC training and not stick balloons on the targets.
With just those stump walls, the troopers can see inside the room and they will automatically form their attack plan and co-ordinate their movements based on that knowledge, especially if they can see where the targets are at. But that is knowledge and insight they are not likely to have in real life.
In addition, when you breach a room in real life, you are never going to get that much light, and the bad guys are not going to have magical balloon pop-ups in front of their faces to help you sort them from the non-combatants in an instant. The guys should be training in darkened rooms with just the printed targets so they learn to use the limited light and their torches to best possible effect and are used to hunting for targets in poor visibility, and especially in dealing with, and using muzzle flash under such conditions.
The whole point of CQC breaching exercises is to develop a trooper's skills and senses such that it becomes near instinct for him to be able to take in the layout of an unfamiliar room at a glance and be able to react instantly to unexpected situations and be able to tell friend from foe in a split second.
Having your range set up as they have goes through the motions but is deficient in many critical areas that could make a massive difference in how effectively the troopers can clear a room in real life.

Bloody hell! Just how close is that range to civilians?! It might be exciting to see live firing exercises so close up and personal, but I would definitely not want to live there. Maybe the locals should think about setting up as B&Bs for wall climbers. I bet there are plenty of people who would pay good money to be so close to the action for a weekend, before the novelty wears off and your hearing is permanently damaged.

Can someone explain to me what is the purpose of having a 35mm spaag when China already have Type 95 spaag? Is this an upgrade to new gen of spaag? like how they moved from Type-88 to Type-96 or Type-99 tank

Back to find the article out,i will share PLA Army's Battlefield Air Defense System pics later(HQ-16,HQ-9,HQ-7B,PGZ-2000,HQ-17,PGZ-95,35mm AAG and QW-3).
This pic have showed new HQ-10 and PGZ-2000 joined PLA Army (Original title said China HQ-17,not Russia Tor-M1)
Huh... i don't know the specific reason, rumors said new 35mm spaag of PGZ-2000 is new gen to replace old PGZ-95(type95). I ever saw a military article(maybe a post in some forum) to introduce current PLA Army's Battlefield Air Defense System, HQ-17(copy Tor-M1) and PGZ-2000 for PLA Army's Battalion-level air defense, PGZ-95(type95) for PLA Army's Company-level air defense. But the future PLA Army own HQ-17 and PGZ-2000, PGZ-95 will retire.
