That's the stupidest explanation ever. Have you ever seen a flight suit worn by a NASA pilot, or a US astronaut? It's BLUE! NASA flight suits are blue! Almost all US astronauts wear blue flight suits.

It's a fashion choice. It has nothing to do with ideology. It's hard for me to believe that NASA wants to immulate communist worker uniform.

Its a joke.
Or have you lose your sense of humour?

Do we actually have any photos of PLAAF pilots in their jackets in flight? Not just sitting inside the cockpit with their jackets, but actually in a flying plane.

Quick question if I may regarding pilot equipment. How does this SJ-1 life preserver attach to the pilot? would they mount in a simmilar fashion to these Russian ones? it doesn't look like they have any attachment hardware? is the pictured unit only the inflatable bladders of a SJ-2 life preserver?
