Don't see any purpose for that white gloves unless it made of fire resistant material like normex flight glove. But it seems similar to the type wore by construction workers.

I wear deer skin gloves when I rode my old sportbike, flying a heavy jet is hard physical work, and if you have seen the stick in fourth gens, it is big and heavy? Now FCS changes all that, but those Flankers and possibly even the J-10 require some muscle to fly to their fullest potential.

What is the use of the retro jacket? The pilot is wearing the jump suit underneath. I would imagine these modern fighters should have air conditioner inside? Why is he also wearing the jacket? Would it be too bulky inside a fighter cockpit?

So that he looks like a ChiCom? :D

Seriously, it seems only fighter pilots from North Korea, Vietnam and China wear these ugly jackets.

If China wants better PR, they really need to dump these ugly jackets. Not to mention when and if they get shot down over sea, these guy would sink. The modern flightsuits NATO/Western fight pilots wear all have floatation bouy built-in.
