>>> Sikorsky Aircraft has been awarded a $3.8 billion contract for the manufacturing and support of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The primary export model for delivery to the KSA is the S-79 Desert Hawk for the Royal Saudi Land Forces. The KSA is the the largest buyer of U.S. arms in the world. Potential arms deals totaling over $100 billion are still under negotiation.

Arms sales to the KSA have been controversial due to the Kingdom's human rights record and its ongoing U.S.-backed intervention in Yemen that has left thousands dead and has sparked a major humanitarian crisis.

Who's flying those Iraqi Air Force F-16s? Surely it can't be Iraqis?! Are we suppose to believe that country destroyed a decade ago. Whose entire military was disbanded and our on the streets, now has a stable pool of fully qualified F-16 fighter pilots?! If that's the case, than in my eyes, that equates to pulling a rabbit outta the hat. We shall see how they manage to consolidate as an independent Air Force of a sovereign country.

About a year ago an Iraqi F-16 pilot was killed in an accident in US after four years training on that aircraft.

Yes...you are to believe it.

The US has been training new Iraqi forces from the ground up for the last several years. Included in that was pilot training for the F-16s.

So, yes, those are Iraqi pilots who have been through significant, very good training.
