I think part of the reason US put it to sea is so that there is no grave for Bin Laden so no more follower to attact.

Have you ever read some of the junk on Chinese websites? Do you realize how much irrelevant stuff I have to sort through on Chinese defense forums to come up with stuff that's kind of authentic. Xinhua's website a lot of times are not official news, but rather re-hashing of things from other news sources. In my opinion, that's not a good thing for a news service that's striving to hit the international stage.

I am pretty sure the "WE WILL GET YOU!", the "Captain American" kind of speech has been sent with every bomb droped. I just not quite sure that "Captain Americans" get to know OTHER PEOPLE'S SPEECH first or not.

Terrorist's death is always a good news, I just want to bring the definition of "terrorist" to attention.

hehehe... I am not sure whether debating with a mod is a good idea. The point is, TAHT link, comes from DEFENCE TALK, a "famous" western forum. The guy who put the post together, "JUST POST RANDOM STUFF", and using the shocking title "Chinese says this", - because Chinese news agency, at this time, quoting some other news agency... and he knows when he say "Chinese says this", everyone else would make it "it is said by Chinese news agency"

Since you don't want to make it looks like "I am judging this thing by ONLY ONE occurance", you brought out the big gun:"Do you realize how much irrelevant stuff I have to sort through on Chinese defense forums"

Hat off for the mod job which I really appreciate. But if I say the following, what would you think? "Do you have any idea how many white-racist I come accross, every time, surfing a western forum?" - So, WTF? why brought up the big gun when there is no point to brought it up?

Popeye, here's a link to a pic I saw yesterday on an Italian military news site. Hard to find now, but they indicated it is the one from the Afghan base before he was flown out to the carrier.

u deliver great point many times, but i agree with tphuang, that there r a ton of fake news on chinese websites everywhere. i've seen so many of them myself, so for someone who does more serious research in preparing his articles, will actually be in further stronger ground to say that

But seriously, I think he meant people should not react to it with more violence. They should always go with the judicial way, something like that. Easier said than done, but that doesn't mean it has no truth to it.

So no photos will be released. I can't say I'm pleased by this. Conspiracy theorists and stuff already love going after Obama, this is sure to create another "birth certificate" type issue, both in the US and across the Muslim world.
