If Alibaba is so popular in China, how come it's almost unheard of and unused in the US, or the world? The problem with Chinese products is not how widespread they are in China, but how limited they are used in the rest of the world. Chinese companies have yet to reach the size and influence of Samsung or Sony in the US.

You see, there is a problem with your argument. You have defined Alibaba as a popular entity in China. Then what does it have anything to do with anything outside of China?

That doesn't affect amazon's status as the biggest e-commerce enterprise in the world.

The same thing can also be said of Alibaba.

Unheard of and unused in the US, or the world? Alibaba is a convenient avenue for businesses around the world to sell their products to Chinese consumers, and the other way around.

Alibaba is currently about twice the size of Samsung in terms of market value and about 8 times that of Sony.

I think ryz05 is 13 years old. The topics and comments he got are seriously naive and uninformed. Or he is just trolling.

The warning about not sending signals into outerspace for fear of being preyed upon, is based on the assumption of humans evolving from apes, and the process of natural selection. However, humans are a special creation, so humanity is protected by a greater power from the start.
