@TerraN_EmpirE Reply button doesn't walk again so I'm @ you here.

This guy is actually a PLA senior colonel so he likely know what he is talking about. But again he is one of those military personal who goes on television frequently so take as many salt as you want.
I will thank you.
Translation of some point of interest:

Gun fired missile with 8 km range.
The LAHAT missile fired from a 120mm NATO Spec main gun does the samething.
ERA on front of both turret and chassis.
Standard for a Chinese or Russian Tank.
Skirt and exhaust port provide some degree of protection. He make the example of Iraqi M1A1 which lack protection on exhaust port (or do they? I'm not sure).
That was fixed with TUSK retrofits. Which add Reactive armor slat armor and more.
Grenade launcher are compatible with both smoke and anti-personal grenade.
Standard practice again.
RWS can mount 7.62mm and 12.7mm MG or 35mm Grenade launcher or other weapon if needed.
that fits with systems like it around the globe,
If I understand his words correctly he has drived VT-4 personally.
Well that must have been fun... The Question is actually driven in the line of duty or joyride?

Chinese tanks usually have a pretty large crew space. Most Chinese turret designs were inspired from the initial layout of the T-54A, which was a three man turret. Even the 99 and 96/A still are internally quite roomy because they trace origin not from the T-72 but the T-54.
Drawback is that the turret geometry suffers in term of off angle protection.
