new laser rifle training tool for actual rifle?

Guess the PLA takes its training pretty serious to deploy separately designed laser rifles simply for war gaming.

It looks like it comes straight out of fan boys wet dreams.

It would be great if this is actually a training tool for a real rifle.

Unfortunately I can only post one picture and it seems kind of small so would someone please go to this site

and upload them properly for our fan boy imagination

P.S. try my poll.

I posted these photos in November..

On November 5, 2010, the Urumqi Frontier Defense Command College of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force (APF) organized its cadets to conduct training on such subjects as laser countermeasure and tactics of capturing in the icy landscape, so as to enhance the tactical level of its cadets in adverse weather and complicated environment. Those plastic laser tag guns are probably far more expensive then a QBZ 95 however.

What I don't understand is why the PAP keeps issuing Frankensteins like the " Christmas Tree" type 79. I mean if they are capable of producing something awesome like this then why keep us fan boys disappointed with World War 2 era weapons.

Cool if someone could post the image for me as I've seemed to run out of attachment space

What stood out to me the most is that they are training in an area where the temperature looks like to be around or below zero degrees (full of snow), and none of them are wearing gloves. Frost bites are not fun to have. Surely they can afford them...

Environmental training so that soldiers get used to harsh conditions that they may be faced with in the field.

I know those are plastic guns, but those weapon must be based on real weapons or it would be utterly useless, as soldiers will be armed with real weapons when they went on missions. And if these are actually based on real weapons then what weapon are those? It seriously didn't look like QBZ-95.

agreed. It makes no sense for them to spend so much time and energy only to come up with a plastic toy that has no use on the battlefield. It seems to me that it must be based on a real thing. Is it possible that these soldiers are simply testing a new design?

Why don't we all vote on it?

They look a bit too happy for serious training, can we be sure this is not just some sophisticated game of laser tag.
