Colonel
I ripped my blurays so i can watch them anywhere.
What blurays do you have left?

I haven’t gotten rid of any of my collection. I’m like a hoarder of BDs. So many titles... all the classics. for instance, I have the BDs of all the different editions of the Lord of the Rings, theatrical, director’s edition, ultimate edition, etc. and individual cases, gift sets, etc, etc, etc. I have a huge cabinet for my collection.

I still have my laser disc collection and laser disc player.
Wow!!

We still have grandfathers Phillips N1500 video cassette recorder.in working condition. He used it to Record International rugby games which used to be shown live at some ungodly hour. Trouble is the Tapes were only 20 minutes and 30 minutes running time.

Somewhere along the time dad picked up an overhead vide projector which was neat until the bulb wore out and never replaced because of cost and the annalogue sound ruined the enjoyment.

My family had one of the first RCA VHS top-loader players when they first came out. It weighed at least 25 lbs. If I recall it was $1000. Just like this one.

Official movies copies not pirated cost a $100 on VHS. I remember the blank tapes were $20 per. In the past couple years I have been transferring old VHS tapes to my computer and found the quality after over 30 years on those old tapes held up well. Also I know I have somewhere on VHS the first US NBC News report on the J-10 being caught on US spy satellites. Back then they called it a stealth fighter. I think that was early-mid 90s. If I find it I'll upload it on YouTube and post it here.
