Not movies but looks like Cinemax, the premium cable TV channel, is making Bruce Lee's old idea that was eventually made into the TV show Kung Fu.

I haven't seen Netflix's Iron Fist but heard how bad it is and how the martial arts weren't that good. I've heard people say they should've learn from the AMC TV show Into the Badlands to learn to make martial arts for TV. It'll be interesting how they'll do the martial arts in this one. The Kung Fu TV series had the slow motion martial arts. When I was a kid I hated it but today I can see why because the tone of the show wasn't really about the action. Doing the standard movie kung fu would've changed the spirit of the show. By the sounds of this one it doesn't look like it will be the walk the earth with the mysterious foreign stranger in a strange land.

Sir Roger Moore has died at the age of 89 following "a short but brave battle with cancer"
Actor Sir Roger Moore, best known for playing James Bond, has died aged 89, his family has announced.
He played the famous spy in seven Bond films including Live and Let Die and A View to a Kill.
Sir Roger's family confirmed the news on Twitter, saying he had died after "a short but brave battle with cancer".
The statement, from his children, read: "Thank you Pops for being you, and being so very special to so many people."

Sir Roger's Bond was calm and suave - a smooth operator who could seemingly get himself out of a tricky situation with ease.
The veteran star, who died in Switzerland, will have a private funeral in Monaco in accordance with his wishes, his children said.
"The love with which he was surrounded in his final days was so great it cannot be quantified in words alone," read the statement from Deborah, Geoffrey and Christian.
"Our thoughts must now turn to supporting Kristina [Tholstrup, his wife] at this difficult time."
The statement added: "We know our own love and admiration will be magnified many times over, across the world, by people who knew him for his films, his television shows and his passionate work for UNICEF which he considered to be his greatest achievement.
Along with his famous Bond role, Moore was also known for TV series The Persuaders and The Saint.

Sir Roger was also well known for his humanitarian work - he was introduced to Unicef by the late Audrey Hepburn and was appointed as a goodwill ambassador in 1991.
Stars pay tribute
Russell Crowe led the tributes to the actor on Twitter, simply: "Roger Moore, loved him."
Michael Ball : "My dearest uncle Roger has passed on. What a sad, sad day this is. Loved the bones of him. Generous, funny, beautiful and kind."

Duran Duran, who sang the Bond theme song for A View To A Kill, simply tweeted:
In a statement, fellow Unicef ambassador and actor Ewan McGregor said: "Thank you, Roger, for having championed so tirelessly the rights of all children for the last 26 years.
"You've shown that we all have the power to make a change to the lives of the most vulnerable children."

Moonraker was my favorite Roger Moore Bond film. Who doesn't like a space shuttle full of astronaut troops going against against the other astronaut troops coming out of the space station?
Second that! He's by far my favorite 007.

I saw Wonder Woman. I have to "wonder" if the tremendous reviews this movie is getting is because of the hype around this being the first female led comic superhero movie. It was entertaining but the end fell flat in my opinion because the ultimate villain of the movie was weakly depicted. The villain is in disguise but when revealed and unveiled in his true form, the filmmakers chose to continue to use the "actor's" facial image who clearly doesn't come across of what you think would be of this mythic figure. Wonder Woman fighting soldiers was more exciting than fighting this ultimate warrior.
Can't you say the same about most mcu films as well? Watching it on Sunday with my wife.
