Nope the trailer for the first season did not entice me and the trailer for the second season was pissing me off. I dodged a bullet but your description of the second season confirms all the garbage i wanted to avoid

I went and saw the new Independence Day movie.My recommendation is not to bother.Terrible scripting and acting made it difficult to enjoy the movie. The Chinese were represented by a commander of the moon base, which appeared to be the first line of defence against any alien invader, and his niece whose role was that of a fighter jock. I was not expecting a great movie but come on! I was bored they had too many unnecessary characters to follow. The original ID4 not an Oscar winner but it was enjoyable and you rooted for the characters also the speeches and dialogue were so much better. I was rooting for the aliens to kill all these insufferable young pilots.

Rogue One cannot come out soon enough!

Yep, she's right. But one thing I have to disagreed with her, Hollywood still hasn't make a descent Kung Fu movies with NON-Chinese or NON-Asian actors or actresses in it. We are the experts!

She's a parrot. She doesn't understand what's she's talking about. I can tell you she's repeating what's in the book written by Linda Obst mentioned in the beginning. Obst is a Hollywood producer of comedies and romantic comedies. I've seen her peddling her crap for a long time. She says she can't make her type of movies anymore because of the foreign box office. I see comedies and romantic comedies being shown in US theaters all the time. The fact is only blockbuster movies have a chance to be shown in China. Comedies and romantic comedies are in a different category that don't need blockbuster budgets and aren't being squeezed out for foreign tastes because they show up in the theater all the time. Like there were no bad movies before the foreign box office became important to Hollywood? I can remember when people started complaining about sequels and they've been around long before Hollywood even noticed the foreign box office. Back then they said it was because corporations bought out the studios and they treated movies like a product on store shelves. Anything new was risky. They only produced products that they knew customers would like from experience. In Hollywood terms that meant movies they knew had a built-in audience meaning repeating previously successful movies aka sequels and poor rip-offs with no originality. If Hollywood is making movies for China and Russia, then why aren't the casts all Chinese and Russian? If Marvel's Dr. Strange was kowtowing to China as charged then why didn't they cast the Ancient One as Chinese? I bet she loved Force Awakens.

I saw Ghostbusters on Sunday. If you loved Forces Awakens you'll love this Ghostbusters . I never had a problem with it being all female. They just should've had an original story. It was the first Ghostbusters but lesser. Yes there were differences but nothing that stood out that made it its own. The new ghosts were bland. The original cast had cameos even Harold Ramis. Surprisingly Bill Murray had more than a cameo and actually played a character. Now I know why Jennifer Lawrence passed on this movie. This is the movie she would take after her prime was over.

Just came back from Star Trek Beyond. It was all right. It had a lot of action. It was a Star Trek episode with a big budget. Frankly I was wishing the bad guys were Jem'hadar which early on there was speculation from description of the aliens. They look very similar to the bad guys in this movie down to the spikey encrusted jawlines. That's the only thing I would find interesting in the Abramsverse to see Kirk's crew encounter things that showed-up in later series. The soundtrack main theme just doesn't fit Star Trek. That monotone score just makes you want to sleep. Sad. The best soundtrack guy today seems to be the one that does the Game of Thrones music.

Comic Con released trailers. Watch'em fast. Some might disappear.
