Ok, can't edit my old post....

After seeing the trailer on YouTube, it says May 6. I guess it's for America. I just like to see how they make Spiderman to be. From the trailer, he seems to be bad guy.

Good thing my final is on the 7th. I'm going to the 6:00PM screening right after class.

Can't contain my hype. If it is half as good as Winter Soldier then I'll be in for a treat :D.

Looks like they're sticking with man-in-suit Godzilla.
I LOVE IT!!! Now Why do I have the taste of Burnt Bacon in my mouth?

You kinda need motion capture of some type for G to do him justice whether man in suit or modern Computer based.
First some fans Have not liked the new G look. Extra Crispy? Cajun Kaiju Style? With that Very long neck and tail those flat out Burnt little T-Rex Arm claws and That Black Charcoal texture with little derp eyes.
But I can accept it as a fan. Toho wanted to go a very different look from the latest American G and play Homage to past suits for some of that look.

First G has never been Green He has been black and he has been grey. this is a very black G and it fits with G as a Analogy for a force of nature. He looks like a Volcano in texture. I mean the glowing red the black rock like flesh It also Hearkens to Godzilla Vs Destroyer( Or Destroyha) Where Godzilla was breaking down glowing red hot And his origins as an analog for Nuclear destruction. I mean look at his arms. I don't like them exactly, but I can see what they were going for These are the Arms of a Victim.
They are clutching at something lost and scared by the Fires of hell burnt to the bone.
The neck and tail com from earlier godzilla suits of the 60's run not the beefy American or Millennium run It shows the loss. and the little eyes express the thousand yard vacancy of the So called "Crocodile people" and those who have lost so much that they seem to just wonder.

All those tanks, planes, ships, and missiles reminds of the old classic Godzilla movies where they try to hit everything they got at him. BUT that makes him a bad guy and I rather like to think of him as a good guy fighting other giant monsters for sake of mankind.

B.I.B.

Captain
Why do they make movies so long these days? I prefer movies around the 90 minutes mark. It starts to drag after that, and thats why so many people pull out their cell phones and start texting.2hrs is too long for most people to be deprived of use of their cell phones.

G is a antihero, he will fight the bad monster but that doesn't mean that he is all about helping. I mean just him walking around is a destructive act due to his size.
Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah Giant Monster All-out Attack, I think frames it nicely as it has Godzilla on a rampage and Mothra, Ghidorah and Baragon try and stop him
The plot has the three monsters Mothra, Ghidorah (normally a bad guy) and Baragon as Guardian monsters meant to protect Japan. The thing is in the plot Godzilla is also a Guardian monster. These Guardians are sorta powered by spiritual power. But as the plot progress its pointed out that Godzilla is in this interpretation the spiritual will of the victims of Japan in the second world war well the other three are more the nature and Ideals of modern and ancient Japan.
I think you might like that version Equation as G is the manifestation of anger against historical events of The Imperial Japanese or rather the Guilt of that heritage clashing with Modern Nationalism (Ghidorah), historical Heritage (Baragon) and the want of the ideals of the modern (Mothra) with the needs of a modern nation to move ahead (JSDF).
As a guilty conscience of not just the Japanese but basically all humanity Godzilla occasionally is going to show up and show you what you have done.
