It looks interesting but that's BS those incoming helicopters would have been destroyed by the Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer SAM before it even be seen from the horizon.

That part in the first episode is pretty outrageously unrealistic... and the only few part I thought is unrealistic. That was supposedly to be Russian transport helicopter like the Mi-17 (or more likely Ka-31 since it has to be flying off a ship not a land base) but instead Michael Bay chosed to use CH-53E which was painted in Russian naval color! And that's not all, that Arleigh Burke destroyer used its 5-inch gun to shoot one down (The rest of shot down by CIWS)! LOL!

Just came back from Ant Man. I'd say it was pretty enjoyable. Good humor. One of the better origin stories from Marvel Studios. And it had nothing to do with looking for an Infinity Gem so the movie felt more its own but still made a lot of references to the general MCU. Two end credit scenes. I was about to leave after the first but there's a more serious one right at the end that's a precursor to the next movie in the Marvel lineup.

How does it compare with Age of Ultron and Winter Soldier/Guardians?

The more I learn about Batman V superman Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad The more it seems this is very much Frank Miller Based. going far far darker Then the Darkest of Marvel or the Batman Begins.

. As we all Know the Joker is a Icon of Batman lore and One of the most dangerous of the DC rouges gallery normally considered a disturbed counter of Batman some have argued that Batman v Joker is a ideological debate regarding order vs Chaos.

When Batman was cast for BvS They focused on making a older Batman BAt-ffleck is discribed as a almost burnt out "B-man". In one of the Trailers a Defaced Robin suit is seen emblazined with "HAHAHA The Jokes on You Batman" Scrawled across it. Possibly as part of the reason why Bat-ffleck has burnt out. this suit is possibly a direct homage to Jason Todd, As soem may know there have been a number of Robins the Latest was Damion Wayne before him was Tim Drake aka Red Robin, Jason Todd and the first of Course being Dick Grayson aka Night wing aka ( the second Batman.)

Jason is a tragic figure in the lore. he was the second Robin After Dick moved on to become Night wing, but his tour as the boy wonder came to a tragic end. the Joker captured him tortured him and seemingly killed him brutally. In the lore however he survived but was twisted mentally scared by the Act.

Now the Fan Theory fits what happens next to a degree. Jason returns to Gotham as the Red hood a Crime lord who uses the Training given him by Batman and is set to avenge himself on both Batman and the Joker. the Identity he uses Red hood is in fact a identity that the Joker used. now the Theory is that the Joker played by Jared Leto is in fact not the true joker for this interpretation but is in fact Jason Todd who became the successor to the Joker.
This fits for a number of reasons first is the Grill, if Jason was subjected to the beat down given by the Joker in the Comics he would need extensive dental and physical reconstruction. as well as the facial J Tattoo which was a Branding done by the Joker to Jason and including one possible Robin,
next is the Suit seen in the BvS Trailers and the News paper with the Scrawled "You LET YOUR FAMILY DIE!".Possibly indicating that Jason is stalking Bruce.

The only hole in this theory is that Jared Leto is about a year older then Ben Affleck. One would assume that Jason Todd would be younger then Bruce Wayne.although they could claim that the abuse left Jason prematurely aged and the Suicide Squad Joker does seem more "Hipper"

It's a origin story in the context of the MCU and not the comics so if you like the character development having its role with the action... I read people compare this to the origin story of Iron Man. Yes I would agree to that but with the fun of Guardians of the Galaxy type of humor. It does feel like a "smaller" stand alone movie compared to the other Marvel movies. I believe that's the idea they were aiming for given it a new property to the MCU. Like I said before it doesn't involve everyone racing to get their hands on an all powerful object which most of the Marvel movies are about which also means more epic storylines. Ant-Man is not like that. But of course they're all in the same universe and Ant-Man shows up in the next Captain America movie. One of the end credit scenes hints at it.

We loved it.

I agree that it is like a origin story along the lines of the original Iron Man but with the Guardians humor.

It was great.

Really LOVED the two trailers. Insight into perhaps a future "The Wasp" movie, and certainly insight into the upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie.

I would recommend this movie to any Marvel enthusiast.
