Not only is Iowa the political center of the US in December ..it was very snowy! We had 19 inches(48cm) of snow plus an inch(2.5cm) or so of ice in December!...Check out Popeye a few days ago....

Of course not..That pile shrunk a little when it got up to 47F(8c) about three days in a row. But we got abot 3.5cm od snow to whiten things up again! More snow expected today!

Still no snow Golly? We have plenty..So far this week we have had 15cm(6in) of snow. Add that to the nearly 50cm(20in) last month...Here are some pics from high atop popeyes apartment building in Iowa. The snow is piled high!

Its being on/off type of thing, that snow I mean. At the moment there is snow and quite nice athmosphere in general, tough I forget that you shoudn't lock your car doors when its bellow 0...my merzedez is locked and the locks are frozen so no key can enter:nono::nono:

But its going to be snow some big time next few days. Sadly I have no digicam so I wont be able to show you the pictures

I never have had my car doors freeze. I know many people that have. I just spray WD-40 in the locks to keep them from freezing at the onset of winter.

It snowed again today..only 2.5cm. Heavier snow later this week..This is the snowest winter in Iowa since I moved here almost 4 years ago.

A few snow scenes taken a couple of days ago by myself here in Cedar Rapids IA USA. We have had about 27 inches(65cm) of snow since December 1st. The snow is piled high around town.
