Russians are different, US populous nationalists think Russian can be coexisted because they are Christians. Check Steve Bannon video. China and Iran are different because they have different culture/civilization.

Israel has not much to offer. Iran have 100x more to offer. For spreading yuan and export Chinese industrial goods.Iran has oil! And linked to China by land through the Stan's.

Israel is pale in comparison to what iran can offered. Israel relationship is not that worthwhile

Israel is not pale in comparison to Iran. Although iranian oil and people potential are very high, I'd say that Israeli human resource and talent is extremely high too. Israeli engineers make huge contributions to the R&D of Intel. Israel also has good standing in science and technology. The jewish diaspora is extremely powerful, wealthy and talented too. It will be stupid to ignore Israel.

Israel assets does mean it's going share with China.
US told israel to can the AWAC deal with China, Israel oblidged.

That was back then when China needs Israel tech but now there are really nothing really critically needed from israel

It's US staunch ally, and better to stay away from US close ally because US consider China as enemy number 1

he is right, while china-US relationship is not good, but complete piss US off by supporting iran, china would lost more than gains. for example US basically telling india/china etc to stop buying iran oil. so if china/india dont reduce it,US could deny access to US led financial system, and thats really bad for those company. China need to wait and concentrate on its economy 1st.
india is in a position similar to china in the 80s. US want to use india to counter China, so it might give them some slack, china on the other hand is different. head to head with US will not benefit china single bit, it need to play smart

The problem is that the US keeps isolating everyone with the international payments system. One day it is Venezuela, the other day it is Iran, next day who knows?

The US did not have this sort of control in international payments before 9/11.
There is no reason to believe the amount of control they have over the system can't be rolled back.

We already saw people try to move to Bitcoin and other similar payment systems to bypass traditional banking.

IIRC some Iranian banks already support the Chinese payments system.

I actually think America keeping Iran on ice for the moment is in China's long-term interest. If the JCPOA had stood and Iran opened to the world, it would have been swallowed up by Europe. It's not like China can sell C919s to Iran at the moment, and - as much as it irks me to say this - European technology remains, broadly speaking, superior to China's. Add to that, the Euro is freely convertible, far from the case for the RMB. China would have gotten a small piece of a larger pie. If Iran remains closed, then China gets a bigger piece of a smaller pie.

Now that the JCPOA is drawing its last breaths and the confrontation with Iran looks to last longer, China has more time to improve its technology and financial system. It will be in a much better position to scoop up Iran in the future, when the next opening phase comes.

    Completely piss US off??
I think it went way past that point already.

If US can bar China from its financial system without blowback it would done it already.

It knows if it does that China would liquidate it's treasury even at lost and stop buying US Treasury altogether.

US will have trouble to finance it's budget. It needs to borrow as much as possible.

That's why US didn't restrict China 4 big banks in NK case. Gordon Chang called out to sanction China big banks but US didnt go that route

And what all for Iran? If Chinese oil industry buying oil from Iran. US can deny those companies access from its financial system. There is no gain but loss by supporting Iran that way. Don't rely on emotional to play the game but logic

    Emotional? Come one now.
China already announced it going to continue to buy oil from Iran, so it shouldn't be a surprise to you.

The only thing is implementation, having Chinese naval ship escort the tanker in case US Navy stop them.
