i know what you mean, but you have to see age is a barrier, i do not know if you are native or not but i can challenge you to write to him in French via the google translate, let us see if he understands it, i know is easy to ask learn my language but another to Speak a foreign language.

We have to be tolerant, google translate is not that good 90% accuracy means there are parts you can misunderstand and can get you a complete different meaning.

I tell you this because I speak Japanese, my son who speaks Japanese and Spanish as native, says my Japanese is horrible, he says i make many mistakes, i know it because Japanese ladies are nicer than men when you speak broken Japanese, Men usually get confused even very simple sentences some Japanese men can not understand me, If a person knows me knows what i mean, but if they are strangers, sometimes they simply think I make no sense in Japanese.

So I understand Forbin, the best is try to be nice to him, do not reply to him unless you really understand him and asking several times if you do not understand him, but believe me the translator is not a magic solution and if you want a proof write me something in Spanish and I am sure there are going to be some mistakes and i can misunderstand you

I think @FORBIN 's English is mostly comprehensible, albeit with some grammatical errors. To be fair though, I'm a native English speaker and can understand this stuff pretty well. A friendly tip to @FORBIN, please stop throwing around the word "propaganda". Just because it is a Chinese source that praises their technological achievements or holds the Chinese military in high regard (which you might not agree with) does not mean it's "propaganda". This word has a negative connotation in the English language and basically equates to flame bait when it comes to forums. Otherwise, @FORBIN 's command of the English language is adequate ... no need to criticize him too hard.

In my opinion the word Propaganda is not bad, it does happen, it is a reality of life, all governments practice it, even companies do it.

The problem is intolerance by both sides, and trying to convince the other side at any cost, plus ganging upon one dissident voice and claiming foul play.

The best is just do not insist upon one`s opinion, and listen the moderator`s commands to stop when the command is given.

But you can not asking stop saying there is not propaganda, or China has not a propaganda Machine, the problem is trying to convince the other side at any cost.
Specially when some one is not Chinese or ethnic Chinese we tend to have a more critical view.

But of course the best, is respect each other and that is never insult and listen the mods command if it is given.

Indeed. I have visited France twice for many weeks, using google translation was good enough. Actually to be fair, google translation is very good (accurate) in translating among major European languages, I have tried Spanish, English, German, Swedish, Danish etc. It is only useless when translating between European and Asian languages or among Chinese, Japanese and Korean (grammatically unrelated).
