Interesting artist impression of the PLAN Naval Aviation's future carrierborne AEW type, the KJ-600 (also sometimes known as the KH-600) in comparison to the JZY-01 testbed. Also shown are a dedicated COD- and ASW-variant.

Interesting to see this small set of radar arrays on the island. Due to their size, they are probably X-band arrays, possibly related or similar to the ones used on the top mast of the Type 055. It might even be the same set. The top mast looks like a new ESM design.

    Most interesting, indeed.
Especially part with an ASW plane of this size on the deck.

These images are most fascinating. When, exactly, did they appear? Is this from an official document or a magazine?

Hey rumors say the aircraft weights 30 tons (!); For an plane similar to the E2 it's very suspicious.

Yak-44 was designed with an MTOW of 40 tons.

    E-2's MTOW is 26 tons.

30 tons for H-600 would be not unreasonable.

Maybe it is not the final design, but an intermediate step to study technology and procedures in real operation.
