By George, the German naval uniforms look terrible. The visor caps look like they just came out of the cleaners. Even the Nazi Kriegsmarine had better uniforms.

The Nazi Kriegsmarine had great uniforms in my opinion.
Kriegsmarine enlisted u-boat sailor..I think & an Lt.


Those "visor caps" are worn by enlisted men??? geez..the USN went to one dress uniform for all hands back in the seventies. It did not last. by the early 80's the traditional uniforms were brought back.

Nice pictures. I wish US DoD pictures were sized like these. Those US military pics directly linked to DoD sites are just to big to post without goofing something up....

Well it's obvious that Captain Iglo Himself has overtaken the Ship

Note that the Bundesmarine uniform is 6-button while the DeutcheReichKriegsmarine is 8-button.
